“In the exercise of His will, He brought us forth by the Word of truth, so that we would be a kind of firstfruits among His creatures.”

James 1: 18

Oh, that we would enter into the Secret Place, and in Him rise up as new creations and first fruits. He has such a glorious position for us, and He has paid for and made a way that we should enter into our full inheritance.

Hear what Smith Wigglesworth said-

“Within your heart there surely must be a response to this call.”

We must hear the call from the very heart of the Father to each one of us to come to the table.

“Whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”

Romans 8: 30

This is what He desires we experience NOW. He longs to separate us unto Himself. The brokenness and filth of our past washed away, and in Him, we arise as new creations. Oh, the heights to which He wants to lift us.

“He Who did not spare His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him freely give us all things.”

Romans 8: 32

  1. Hearts Made Soft Again

“Don’t let the Enemy cripple and bind you. Why don’t you believe God’s Word? There is a blessed place for you in the Holy Spirit. Instead of condemning you, Christ is interceding for you.”

In this Secret Place, we possess this promise-

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8: 38, 39

It is in Him, in the Secret Place, and the Safe Place, where we are persuaded of His love. It is here I can finally open up and pour out before the Lord. We can pour out our precious oil on His feet and baptize them with our tears. As we do, we see the One Who laid down everything for us and walked so humbly amongst us. We see the nail-pierced feet and the price paid for us. It was for me He did it, and the reality sinks in and breaks the hardened heart.

“Jesus identified Himself with us…He knows and understands your needs.”

He is touched by our needs, hurts, brokenness and seeks to bring forth a real hope and, in the Secret Place, radically transform us.

  1. Loved and Able to love

Here now, I stand so wrecked by His love that a change begins. He sits on the throne, and I see His present-day ministry. It is no longer about who I was, but who I am in Him, in the Secret Place.

“Paul desired to ‘gain Christ and be found in Him’ (Philippians 3: 8, 9). Oh, can I gain Him? Is it possible to change and change, having His compassion, His love?”

Once, this broken vessel was filled with such hurt, anger, and bitterness, but know I am loved, and I can love. His love in me casting out all fear.

God does heart surgery on us-

Yes, God will create within thee a pure heart. He will take away the stony heart out of the flesh. He will sprinkle thee with clean water and thou shalt be cleansed from all thy filthiness. When will He do it? When you seek Him for such inward purity. (Ezekiel 36: 25, 26)

There is something so beautiful and liberating about having a pure heart and standing clean. Now we become useful for the Master-

“We will submit ourselves in the future in order that we may be useful to one another. And when we come to a place where we serve for pure love’s sake, because it is the divine hand of the Master upon us, we will find out that we will never fail.”

The thought of loving for so long was the farthest thing from our mind, but wrecked in the Secret Place, we become so consumed by His love it just flows from us. We are secure in His love! There is nothing that can change His love for us, and nothing can separate us from His love. I am clean, whole, and free. My past is not just over, but it has been wiped clean. I am a new creation. Now I am a public display of His amazing love. He took a broken and frail human vessel and declared it a precious treasure that He wanted. So He paid the highest price possible that He might bring that treasure home. Now, He wants to transform me from glory to glory. Daily He takes time with His treasure, and as a skilled Artist, He molds and works on me, bringing forth His excellence in and through me.

  1. But I must Submit to Him

We submit to those whom we trust, and in the Secret Place, we find we can fully trust Him.

“I am among you as the One Who serves.”

Luke 22: 27

He came to serve!

“So I implore you to see that there is a lowliness, a humbleness, that leads you to a meekness, that leads you to separate yourself from the world, that puts you so in touch with the Master that you know you are touching God. The blood of Jesus cleanses you from sin and pollution (1 John 1: 7).”

I am not the same! As I submit to Him and His royal Law of Love, I discover a new purpose and value in life. This frail earthen vessel has broken open, and His glory now is seen. In my weakness, His strength is now seen.

“Sons of God without rebuke.”

  1. I am Found In Him, the Favored Place

“Are you in? Oh, be IN! In Christ in God. Ready for action, moved by the breath of the Spirit- to pray through, preach through, manifesting the glory of the Lord, having a double portion of the Spirit, bathed in ecstasy, delight, and joy. Thy will be done- each a perfect son.”

We now live in union with the Lord God. You have real fellowship with Him. Of this fellowship-

“They were so fed from the depths- they knew they had never had that before- They said, Lord, evermore give us this bread… God wants such a people that He can feed with the finest of wheat.”

His words to us are life. He speaks to us from His heart to ours.

Wholly swallowed up in the life of the Spirit inexpressible.”

  1. I know Who I am and Whose I am

This is a glorious position. I can say and know that I am my Beloved’s, and my Beloved is mine (Song of Solomon 6: 3)

“You must learn to take the victory and shout in the face of the devil, IT IS DONE! There is no man who can doubt if he learns to shout.”

There is a shout that comes causing the devil to flee and your Jericho walls to fall.

You no longer tolerate the enemy, but you now know who you are and the authority to carry in His Name.

“Shout, ‘Get thee behind me, Satan,’ and you will have the best time on earth. Whisper it, and you won’t.”

This is a glorious place. May we all press forward to come to such bold confidence of faith that we are always taking ground from the enemy. We become a voice for Jesus!
